GREENCO Impact Report
Plastic collection & income generation across Ghana
Our model
GREENCO connects Greeners — households and businesses with recyclable plastic — to Green Agents, who collect, weigh, and pay for it on the spot in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS). The app handles matching, live tracking, in-app chat, and a running record of every pickup, so both sides always know where their order stands.
Offtake & partnerships
Collected plastic moves on to recycling and buy-back partners after pickup. We're actively formalizing these downstream relationships — get in touch if you're a recycler, aggregator, or investor interested in partnering with us.
Why this matters
- Diverts plastic waste from landfill and informal burning
- Puts direct cash in the hands of everyday Greeners for waste they'd otherwise discard
- Creates flexible income opportunities for Green Agents as independent collectors
